SACOS’ Board of Directors comprises of the following members:
Mr. Michel Felix - Chairman
Mr Felix has held various senior positions with Barclays Bank (Seychelles) Ltd and currently runs his own business.

Mr. Antonio Lucas – Chief Executive Officer
Management Experience:
Appointed to the post of CEO of State Assurance Company Limited since 1st January 2006. Was previously the Chairman and Managing Director of State Assurance Corporation of Seychelles from1989 to 2005. Prior to joining SACOS, Mr. Lucas held various senior management posts in the public sector and has also served as Chairman and or Director on various Parastatal Organizations.
Education and Training:
An MBA from Curtin University of Science and Technology, Australia. He also attended a number of overseas and local General Management and Insurance Management programmes, seminars and workshops.
Memberships:
Previously the Executive Committee Member of the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers and the African Insurance Organisation; Member of Board of Trustees of the Eastern and Southern Africa Insurers (OESAI);Member of Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund; Councilor of the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr. Willy Confait
Mr Confait holds an MBA (Politics/Public Administration) with the University of Warwick, UK. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Pension Fund.
Mr. Guy de Gaye
Mr. de Gaye is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIF). He is currently the Senior Manager Technical of SWAN Insurance and also acts as Complaints Coordinator. He has more tham 36 years of service with the Company working at different levels, thus developing expertise in the underwriting of a wide range of insurance risks. He has also built over the years a network of contacts in Mauritius and overseas with the community of insurers and re-insurers.
Mr. Louis Rivalland
Mr. Rivalland has a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science and Statistics. He is a Fellow of The Institute of Actuaries, UK and Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa. He is presently holding the post of Group Chief Executive of the Swan Group of Mauritius.
Mr. Jean Claude D’Offay
Mr Jean Claude D’Offay retired from the Government of Seychelles on 31st December 2008 after working for forty eight years in the Civil Service and the Central Bank of Seychelles. Apart of a Director of SACOS he is also the Chairman of the Review Panel for Public Procurement
Ms Melanie Stravens
Ms Stravens holds an LLB from Kingston University, UK. She is currently the Director General, Trade Division of the Ministry of Finance.
Mr Yakub Suleman
Mr Suleman holds a BSc (Economics) from Queens University, Northern Ireland. He is a businessman.
Mr. Guy Ferley
Mr. Ferley is the Director of Operations for Life Assurance Company Limited and has been working for SACOS since 2004. He holds an LLB (Honours) from the University of East London and aDiploma in Legal Practice from the University of Northumbria, UK.
